Very good for continuity checks and miswire detection on installed LAN runs. My only minor criticism is that a backlight would help in darker riser cupboards, but functionally it does exactly what I need.

How to Use
- Insert the 9V battery and connect one end of the cable to the main tester.
- Attach the remote unit to the far end of the installed run or patch cable.
- Select the appropriate connection type and power on the tester.
- Observe the LED wire map sequence to confirm continuity and pin order.
- Check for indicated faults such as open pairs, shorts, reversed conductors or miswires.
- Disconnect and label any failed run for retermination or replacement before final handover.
